From our Arieana Notebook: Pico Haat Shaat was the last son of Haat Shaat. It is fun for me to remember riding Jolley Pico bareback in her halter at San Simeon as she neared term carrying this foal and feeling his movements inside her as we walked quietly along.

Pico Haat Shaat was trained and shown for Western Pleasure by Dale Skinner, and spent a very happy and productive life with The Camacho Family at their Rancho del Charro in Nipomo, California where he served as Felix Camacho's parade horse and as one of their leading sires.

Regretfully Pico Haat Shaat passed on to greener pastures in 2004, but his blood lives on through his 13 purebred registered foals, including his son and our reference sire Blitzen of Pico and his famous daughter, the Endurance Champion mare Pico Stardust+/. Pico Haat Shaat is also paternal grandsire to the Arieana-bred fillies Shaatina Moun and Rahzella Moun as well as paternal grandsire to our own rising star Haat Pursuit.
