Another
Parade for Haat Lipz Sandy
Obermeyer of Obermeyer Performance
Arabians has sent us this photo of Bill Obermeyer (waving to
the crowd) and their home-bred mare Haat Lipz (Blitzen
of Pico x Arribas Pride) once again leading the Atascadero Horsemen in a parade through
Paso Robles on October 11th. Sandy reports that Haat Lipz, who
also serves as a posse horse for the SLO Sheriff's Department, was
steady throughout despite all the noise, confusion, vehicles, sirens,
bands, and other 196 entries. What a good girl and outstanding
representative of CMK Breeding! (10/13/02)

Eagerly
Awaiting Karen Malcor-Chapman can hardly wait for next year's
CMK arrivals. "Foxie Ferseyn (Mij Ferseyn x Erramuffit).. our 24
yr. old mare due to deliver in February, 2004... is still pregnant,
happy as a clam playing games with our feed truck and begging to get
scratches even if we are going to get another horse, is sleek and fat
and sassy. She's also SCID Clear! Yippee! (Just got the test results
yesterday!). Can't wait to see this foal ~ 75% CMK (by Khornerstone KpM).
Also expecting another CMK baby in April, by Khornerstone KpM and out of
TA Sarrinade (Arribba x Gai Talley). Both mares have special
pages on Karen's website home for KpM
Cornerstone Arabians. Please take
a look!" (09/30/03)

Transitions
News today from Marci de la Torre: "Farlanes Pride+/ (Farlane x Mahalann) has returned to Canada for a visit
after a 6 year stay in California. Dr. David Ward, his owner, will freeze
semen over the next couple of months so he can insure preservation of these
precious bloodlines for years to come. After he is successfully frozen,
Farlanes Pride+/ will return to Marci de la Torre at
Pegasus Park in SoCal.
Until then, he will be sorely missed and his paddock will stand empty
awaiting his arrival." (09/23/03)
