Foundation Stallion of Al Najib Arabians
Al
Najib (The Noble Breed) Arabians was established in 1975 by Howard
Patton with his purchase of two exceptional mares: Bint Patrina by Don
Juan and her daughter Grand Contessa by Grand Counselor. With them came
the need for an outstanding stallion to cross on them. With the valued help
of Carol Mulder, the exceptional Aur Sulla was located and
purchased in Canada and brought to Southern California in 1985. The results when bred on the mares of
Al
Najib Arabians were consistently outstanding offspring and their
successes brought about Al Najib's total commitment to the continued breeding
of fine CMK Arabian Horses.
Aur Sulla regretfully passed on to greener pastures in
January 2006, but we at Al Najib salute his marvelous legacy. In addition to his elegant daughters,
Aur Sulla left two
fine sons at Al Najib to carry forward for him at public stud: ANJ Abdul and
ANJ Revere.
